What Happened to My Loved One When They Passed?

It is my hope that upon reading this, you will gain some clarity and optimism about what happens to loved ones when they pass on to the next plane of existence. This is a topic that has been widely discussed and debated throughout the years and many theories have been developed. However, it is my personal belief, (based on 28+ years of working with spirit), that when our soul leaves it's earthly body behind, it continues to live in other dimensions. This is to say that we are made of energy and each of us has our own, individual energetic signature. (Have you ever gotten a shock from dragging your feet on the carpet? That is energy.) Energy does not die, it simply changes form. (If you don't believe me, ask a physicist.) So when a soul leaves it's human vessel behind, that soul's energetic signature continues to live, just not in a human body that we can easily recognize. What this means to you is that your loved one is still living, you just cannot see or touch them, (in a physical sense anyway).

Now comes the spiritual/religious piece...Each of us has our own belief system about what realm our soul travels to when we leave our physical body. (Notice I did not use the term "die," as energy does not die.) There are innumerable beliefs/ideologies regarding this, but the goal of this blog post is not to try to convince you of a particular belief system, or argue a specific doctrine. What you choose to believe is up to you. What I will say, is that in my personal experience of speaking with spirit over the years, they have expressed to me on countless occasions, that they are "okay." They are not in any harm, and in fact, on several occasions, they have expressed to me their happiness and gratitude at being where they are. And, they enjoy hearing from YOU! So if you are a person who is unsure about how your passed loved one feels about you reaching out to them, please know that is usually well received and that most spirits enjoy hearing from their living loved ones.
